How Hira Muslim Students Association collects, uses and protects your personal information.

02What we collect
Only what you enter in our forms: your name, phone number, email address, Telegram username, school and program of study, student ID or Fayda ID number (optional), address, your messages, and files you upload such as payment receipts or project demos.
03Why we use it
To process your membership application, event registration or message, to contact you about it, and to verify payments. We never sell your information or use it for advertising.
04Who can see it
Only a small number of authorized association officers, through a password-protected admin area. Uploaded files are stored privately and can only be opened through temporary links. We do not share your information with anyone else unless required by law.
05Where it is stored
Securely with our service providers: Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (website hosting) and Cloudflare (spam protection). These providers may process data outside Ethiopia.
06How long we keep it
Payment receipts and uploaded files are deleted 12 months after submission. Contact messages are deleted after 12 months, event registrations after 24 months, and membership applications after 36 months. Deletion is automatic.
07Your rights
Under Ethiopia’s Personal Data Protection Proclamation No. 1321/2024 you may ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, at any time. Contact us at Advertamr@gmail.com or +251 96 452 1722.
08Cookies
We only use essential cookies: your language choice and, for administrators, a login session. Your display theme is stored in your browser. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
